Eurocup-3 Driver with Campos Racing
Single-Seater Racer

My name is Alex Powell. I was born in Miami in 2007, while also spending years across the wider Caribbean, especially Trinidad and Tobago, where I first discovered racing and started karting in 2015. My background is deeply shaped by my family: my father, John, is from Jamaica and an accomplished rally driver, and my mother is from Colombia.
I raced across the Caribbean and U.S. circuits early on, then moved to Italy at age 11 to pursue the highest level of competition in Europe. After a strong run in the OK karting category, including finishing runner-up in the FIA Karting European Championship, I made the jump to single-seaters at the end of 2023 with Prema.
In 2024, I raced full-time in F4, gaining invaluable experience and earning multiple podiums. I continued that momentum with another full-time F4 season in 2025, building consistency and sharpening my racecraft. Now I’m proud to take the next step in Eurocup 3 with Campos Racing, a traditional Spanish team with a presence across the single-seater ladder up to Formula 2 and a long history of success. I’m focused on building momentum, pushing my limits, and representing my Jamaican-Colombian-American roots on every track I race.
